.SYNOPSIS...Broad low pressure forming offshore Florida will drift

north over the next few days, bringing thunderstorms and heavy 

rainfall to the NE Gulf and adjacent portions of Florida. Gradual 

tropical development of this system is possible and a tropical 

depression may form next week. Regardless of development, mariners

should prepare for thunderstorms producing locally gusty winds 

and higher seas. Away from this system, weak high pressure will 

dominate, producing gentle to moderate winds and slight to 

moderate seas through the period.
