Group Fitness 101
Sunday, February 4, 5:30-6:30pm
Meet in the SRC lobby. You will learn where our studios are, how to set up a spin bike, which group fitness equipment to choose, and how to use the functional training and water aerobics equipment. If you've been wanting to try our fitness classes but have questions, this session is for you!
Fitness Class Challenge - March 5th - March 31st
This challenge is intended to introduce participants to our free fitness classes! Sign up: Fitness Class Challenge Registration
Beginning Monday, March 5th, participants are encouraged to check-in to different fitness classes throughout the rest of the month. The goal is to attend the most fitness classes during that time. Attendance to the class will be recorded by scanning a QR code in the fitness studios before/after the conclusion of the class. Due to this being dependent on the "honor system", no more than three classes per day can be recorded.
Spin into Spring Spinning Challenge - March 5th - March 31st
Participants will be challenged to attend Spinning classes at the Student Recreation Center and track their miles. ONLY miles from classes attended at the SRC should be tracked. Sign up: Spin into Spring Spinning Challenge Registration
International Spin Night
Thursday, March 14 at 6:30-7:20pm in the Cycle Studio
You'll workout to an awesome playlist of songs from around the world. Plus, reps from the Office of Study Abroad will be in the lobby at 6:15-7:30pm to help you plan your next international adventure!
Trap Zumba with Jaguar Productions
Tuesday, March 19, 7:30-8:30pm in Studio 1
Prepare to drop it low and move to the beats at our electrifying Trap Zumba! This high-energy fusion of hip-hop music and Zumba promises to get your heart pumping and your body grooving. Come ready to dance, sweat, and vibe with us.
Full Moon Yoga

Come enjoy the spring weather and yoga under the light of the full moon. Class is held on the SRC back deck.

Private classes
Our staff is available for private fitness classes for your USA group. Fee is $45/hour and includes all equipment. Your group may choose from most of our class types. Fill out our Facilities Rental Form to schedule a class; be sure to look at the current SouthFit schedule to determine if a studio is open at your requested time.
Payment is due 48 hours in advance. You may cancel for a full refund up to 48 hours in advance of the class. There are no refunds for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance or no-shows.
