What if My Project/Package Requires Revisions?

Example Scenario 1:
After you’ve selected Submit this Package in IRBNet, your project undergoes a pre-review by your committee administrator. If they determine revisions are required, they will unlock your submitted package. You will receive notice your package has been unlocked.

Example Scenario 2:
After you’ve selected Submit this Package in IRBNet, you realize you’ve forgotten to attach a required document or supplemental material. Your package can be unlocked by your committee administrator for updates. You will receive notice your package has been unlocked.

Step 1

Once your project is unlocked, log in to IRBNet and select My Projects on the left navigational panel. Locate the appropriate project and click the title to open.

Step 2

This brings you to the Designer page where you
will see the red icon showing your package is
unlocked.

You can now make the appropriate changes to
your package.

Step 3

Once you are finished making changes, you must select Mark Revisions Complete on the Designer page. The package will now be locked and an alert is sent to your committee administrator.
